The Role
Hem is on the lookout for a Global Wholesale Manager to spearhead our retail and distribution strategy and make a serious impact in the world of design. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned pro with a flair for innovation and an unstoppable track record in managing and growing wholesale channels. As the Wholesale Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and other key stakeholders to develop and execute a wholesale strategy that expands Hem's reach in key markets and drives revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a wholesale strategy that aligns with Hem's overall business objectives.
- Grow and manage existing wholesale partnerships through frequent interactions, training, coaching and creative campaigns.
- Identify new potential partnerships and opportunities for expansion in line with strategic direction.
- Work with our talented product development team to lead the commercial product go-to-market execution, making sure our products are flawlessly launched, generating buzz, and are flying off the shelves.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute wholesale-specific marketing campaigns and promotions that make a splash.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization, while keeping an eye on the bigger picture and long-term goals.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with wholesale partners, including pricing, minimum order quantities, and anything else that needs your expert touch.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in wholesale management, preferably in the design and/or fashion industry. You know the ropes, and you've got a wealth of insider knowledge.
- A proven track record of managing and growing wholesale channels. Your peers consider you a master of the craft.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. You're a natural-born communicator, and your charisma and charm have been known to work wonders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can crunch numbers and analyze data with the best of them, and you never back down from a challenge.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. You've got the education to back up your expertise and experience.
