Being part of the team

Hem consists of a divers team of exceptional creative thinkers who want to succeed together and disrupt the archaic design industry. The Business Developers at Hem are on the front line bringing Hem's global offering to clients around the world who ranges from progressive tech companies such as Google, AirBnb, and Nike, to creative vanguards like MoMa, Snøhetta, Rapt Studios, and Bjarke Ingels Group. A Business Developer's key responsibility is to build and nurture Hem's client community with the ultimate goal to grow revenue. With a transparent business model the Business Developers can focus on create positive, long-lasting relationships through customer engagement and feeding structured insights and ideas back to the rest of the organisation to further develop the offering and enable growth. The physical encounter with our products is a proven growth engine why getting clients in front of our products is an important responsibility for the Business developers.

The Business Developers are the spiders in the web in the collaborative Hem team with knowledge around everything from design to logistics, knowing how to leverage the different strengths throughout the organisation in order to make the client happy and successful. The Business Developer drives the outreach to new and existing clients resulting in daily meetings and dialogues with stakeholders ranging from architects & designers to procurement firms and CxOs.

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic creative thinker who loves the idea of disrupting the design industry. You are obsessed with design and quality and loves to share your passion for it. The short-comings and inefficiencies in the design industry ecosystem frustrates you and you want to be part of the solution.

You have a hunter mentality and structured approach to everything you do, are highly communicative and does not sit around and wait for things to fall in your lap. You want to be part of the full journey, from setting the strategies to the hands-on execution. You thrive when you are in the drivers seat together with a brilliant team.

As a compassionate problem solver you dig for the root cause before you start implementing solutions. You love the face-to-face interaction with your clients and sees it as an opportunity to learn and grow. You are in it for the long run and is motivated by collaborative efforts. Having more ideas than you have had time to execute on has made you a prioritization pro. You are able to prioritize your work independently, go after the leads where it matters, and are not satisfied until you have successfully contributed to achieving your teams tangible goals.

We think you have experience from working in an international team and have been part of other successful scale-up journeys.

Hem in short

Being one of the world’s fastest-growing design companies (+100% year on year growth since 2016), and working with clients from the technology industry such as Google, Nike, Airbnb, Instagram, Square, Twitch, and design professionals such as MoMa, Snøhetta, Gensler, and Bjarke Ingels Group, Hem is part of defining the physical spaces of tomorrow.

Hem represents a new era of designers and makers who take on the design, product development, manufacturing, technology, and logistics.
