The Commercial team at Hem are on the front line bringing Hem's global offering to clients around the world, ranging from progressive tech companies such as Google, AirBnb, and Nike, to creative vanguards like MoMa, Snøhetta, Rapt Studios, and Bjarke Ingels Group. The Sales Lead's key responsibility is to grow Hem's client base and community, with the ultimate goal to grow revenue. With a transparent business model the Sales Lead can focus on creating positive, long-lasting relationships through customer engagement and feeding structured insights and ideas back to the rest of the organisation to further develop the offering and enable growth. The physical encounter with our products is a proven growth engine why getting clients in front of them is an important responsibility for the Sales Lead.

The Sales Lead is the responsible "hunter" for new projects in its market. With support from the global Hem team the Sales Lead will drive active engagement with clients to help them solve challenges and maximize Hem's share of wallet in identified projects. As the local driver for outreach to new and existing clients the Sales Lead will have daily meetings and dialogues with stakeholders ranging from architects & designers to dealers, procurement firms and CxOs.

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic creative thinker who loves the idea of disrupting the design industry. You are obsessed with design and quality and loves to share t passion. The short-comings and inefficiencies in the design industry ecosystem frustrates you and you want to be part of the solution. 

You have a proven track record of Sales within the Furniture industry and want to leverage your acquired skill set in a progressive way. You have a hunter mentality and structured approach to everything you do, are highly communicative and does not sit around and wait for things to fall into your lap. You want to be part of the full Sales journey, from setting the strategies to the hands-on execution. You thrive when you are in the drivers seat together with a brilliant team.

As a compassionate problem solver you love the face-to-face interaction with clients and view all interaction as opportunity to learn and develop. You are in it for the long run and you are motivated by collaborative efforts. Having more ideas than you have had time to execute on has made you a prioritization pro. You are able to prioritize your work independently, go after the leads where it matters, and you're not satisfied until you've successfully achieved your team goals. 

We think you have experience from working in an international team and have been part of other successful scale-up journeys.
